D Mission 28 [Mission requested by Sand for Zach]

Zach pulled out Killer and decided to himself "I wont kill with my hands... just my puppet's... i don't want blood stained hands..." Zach had always hated violence and bloodshed he didn't see the pojnt in it... but he had to defend the people of his village... but he wouldn't kill with his hands.. he had always failed in ninja academy because he was too scared to kill a person... he only just scraped through academy... he decided he would use puppet's because he would rather a blood-stained puppet than he be the one with blood stains... He then flung Killer to Keiji aiming Killer's blade at Keiji's heart. Zach said "I'am sorry I have to kill you... it is just self defence..." Zach said as Killer got close and got on mark to stab the guy in the heart.

Keiji looked up, his ears still bleeding, so unfortunatly he barly heard what Zach said. Then the smaller puppet was flying at him, the blade on his arm exposed and forward. He muttered the word 'no' unsure if he actually said it or only wished he has said it. Then the blade drove home. He gasped as blood shot from his mouth. His heart tried to race, but skipped and wasted away. "No, your blood, will be on... my hands." He said, then formed a few handseals and looked up at Zach. He smirked, blood running through his teeth. Then, in front of where he placed his hand, a large black glow appeared. It seemed to change from day to night, and the fire in the forest went out. In front of Keiji's hand, a demon appeared. The monster slowly looked up to look at Keiji. "My, what happened to you?" It asked.
[and yes, your puppet's blade is still in it's chest]

Zach wasn't sure what he meant... he had just stabbed him in the heart... it's not like he can fight... and then when the weird demon thing appeared Zach asked "what the hell? what is that thing? some sort of demon?" Zach decided to not bother moving Killer, he didn't want to waste any more energy, but he got on high alert in case the little demon thing decided to to do something. Then he thought... maybe it is a healing thing? like he summons it and it heals him... Zach wasn't sure what to expect from the thing, but he had a feeling he wouldn't like it... and then he looked around to see No, he seemed alright... a part from the fact of not being able to move... Zach quickly turned back waiting for his answer to the question.

Zach didn't get a reply so he decided he would just attack again, the demon didn't seem to be doing anything so he got Killer to stab Keiji again with the blade on the other arm, this time he aimed for Keiji's stomach. Zach was sure this was to be over soon.

Killer stabbed Keiji again, the demon laughed. "Monster!" Keiji called, the demon looked up at you. "I like you." He said, then lifted his hand, and a powerful purple flame burst from it and incinerated Keiji, causing him to scream in pain as he burnt away.

"Monster?!?! you are the one trying to kill me for no apparent reason!!! I'am just on a D-ranked mission to escort an injured man!!! you don't have to attack me because of that!!!" Zach called out to Keiji, but then the demon attacked Keiji, Zach's first instincts were to pull Killer back so it wouldn't catch on fire, what is the deal with this demon? it killed the person who summoned it for no apparent reason!? Zach looked at the demon puzzledly. "You like me?" he asked confusedly, right now Zach was a bit confused about what the demon is talking about, but he was still on high alert on what the demon might do to Zach, if he could create fires and burn someone so quickly (like what he did to Keiji) who knows what it will do to him...

The demon looked up at you, Keiji's screams had stopped as he died. "So, now you. Do you want to join me? Or die?" He asked. Before pointing a single finger at you. He lookes really strong.

Zach trembled in fear as he saw keiji die, he had never seen someone die... it was... horrifying! and what mercy had he given Keiji? NONE!!! Zach didn't know what to do... he was... in a tough situation... Zach wondered to ask a few questions before he did anything... Zach asked "um... first what shall I call you by? and why did Keiji summon you? and why did you kill him? and why do u want me to join you?" Zach was still trembling, this little demon looked as if it could kill someone instantly...

[the demon is actually adult sized tall.]

He looked at you and tilted his head. "Hmm..." He took a step closer. "You have asked a lot of questions." He lifted his hand and pointed at you. "Join us, or die." He said, then lifted two fingers. "I will only answer two questions. Think about it before asking me."

"two?" Zach asked, this hardly seemed fair but Zach decided to choose the two that troubled him the most. "What would I be joining if I joined you? and why did Keiji summon you only to be killed?" Zach stood there still trembling.

"The first I understand, but the secod is common kowledge." The demon seemd to be overestimating your kowledge of the demon lands. "I will answer them both anyways." He took another step forward, by now, Keiji was only purpleish black ashes. "You would be joining the future rulers of the world, the ones who will conquer everything through war." He seemed to smile widely from ear to ear, which where pointed. The demon has long hair, and behind it is a small horn coming diagonaly out of his forhead. "When a demon is summoned, we require one sacrafice to do what you want, think of it as a trade. Normally it's the opponent who is sacraficed, but I was interested in you and so I killed Keiji." He looked at the remains of Keiji. "He was quite talented with a sword, he needed more chakra training, he couldn't handle the Elemental Recompositioning of fire."

"ok... if i were to join... how would it affect me? and my life?" Zach didn't want to die, so he decided to ask a few more questions... depending on the answer he might join or might not join... and die... if it were to affect his family or friends he wouldn't join, but if all he had to do was listen to the demon he would join... "hopefully the demon wouldn't get sick of me and just kill me..." thought Zach.

The demons eyes narrowed. "I said you have only two questions." He said.

"curses..." Zach muttered to himself..... he didn't know what to do... if he were to join... who knows what would happen! but if he didn't... he will die! "maybe...., maybe I can make a run for it!" thought Zach "no impossible, this thing looks like it could catch up easily..." Zach stood still for a while, thoughts racing through his head... if he joined and it turned out to be bad... he would just quit and die... that wouldn't be too bad, as long as it didn't affect his family or friends he would stay with the demon... but if it did affect his family or friends, he would rather die, plus, the demon said it was going to be part the future rulers of the world... that would be interesting to be a part of... After a while of thinking Zach decided... "I will join! but only as long as it doesn't affect my friends or family!" Zach declared "ok?"

[DAMN, Balls! GRAAR! My post gost deleated again, because I was hitting backspace and I accidentally went back and my post was gone]

Heres what happend, he said yes, then he gave you 3 weeks to gain the fire element [gained by being level 20 and then asking for it.] and then learning a firebased summoning jutsu. During that time, you cannot tell anyone what happend here.

"sure..." Zach said "where will I got to learn all this?". Zach never liked the fire element, he liked the wind element more, it suited him. Zach decided to quickly ask "does it have to be fire? could it be Wind please? but.... if it has to be fire I will just learn fire then..."Zach then looked at No, had he been listening? Zach decided to not say anything, if he had listened he would have to do something, if he hadn't listened he shouldn't ask No if he was listening other wise No might think something was fishy.... Zach looked back at the demon for an answer.

"If you intend on joining me and havig the ability to summon me, then you must have the fire element." He looked at No, No wasn't moveing. "He's probably dead. And I have to go soon, if you do not learn the fire element, and then how to summon, everyone you love will die." He turned around "One last question."

[3 more turns left]

"what? everyone will die???" Zach gulped, this was gonna be hard... but he had to do it or his friends and family will die! Zach looked back at the demon "do I get one more question? ok... where WOULD i go to learn to summon you... like do I find a scroll or just learn it automatically as soon as I learn the fire element?"

"It will require the fire element to learn, and higher levels to improve. But it is a jutsu which you will have to create on your own, it's different for everybody. The demon lifted one of it's fingers and then fished around in Keiji's ashes for a moment, finding a vial. He bit his finger, dark red blood slowly poured from it, he placed it over the vial and waited until it was half full before sealing it and extended his arm towards you, offering the vial of dark blood to you.

Zach took it, and asked "is this the thing i need to use to summon you or something?".

The demon smirked, it will be used so you can learn it, it's easier to learn if you have a vial of the person you want to summons blood." He turned around, then dissapeared in a cloud of smoke, becoming unsummoned.
No moaned quietly against the tree.

Zach nodded as the demon disappeared. Zach turned around and went to No, he kneeled down beside him and asked "are you ready to go now?" Zach hoped No didn't hear any of the demon's and his conversation.

No's eyes darted towards you, the gash in his stomach bled profusily.
"I'm afraid I heard everything." He reached up to grab your neck, if he did, he pulled you closer and whispers at you.
"So I guesse you would have to kill me." He said.

At that moment Zach sighed and said "dont you get it? I'am just lying to enter the group and bring the Sand Village news of what they are doing! I'am going to make the organization fall apart from the inside!" Zach knew what he was saying was a load of crap, he just hoped no would buy it, because he didn't want to kill an innocent man, all he needed to do was lie. His plan was to pretend to bring news of what the demon was doing to the Sand Village, but he is actually going to make it all up, and then tell the demon lies too. He was going to be neutral... not good... but then again not bad... his plan was coming together.
