As of now...

'Hello?'

A voice whispered into the ear of a boy, the boy awoke, his black eyes staring at the ceiling of a building that he had been living in for some time now. The roof was gray with many different pictures that young people, like him, had drawn, some better than others. He looked at one picture more than any other. The picture was of three people, all three were children, one with black hair that Raiden says to himself, that is him. Than two more, he couldn't tell much of what they looked like, besides there hair and cloths, one with blond hair, and one with light brown hair. This was something he wanted to meet, get some friends and become a genin, stay with his team and hope that his team accepts him, for who he is.

His father came up to him, placing his hand on his head, than saying, "You can go now." Raiden sighed, knowing his father would want him to take the clan trait after his mother. He already knew he didn't have it, but he didn't want to tell his father that. His hands sat up on the bed, his feet dangiling over the side, barely touching the ground, seeing as his bed was three feet off the ground. He than yawned reaching under his bed to grab his day clothes and his hat. He stood up and yawned, almost falling back over, but having more self-control than to fall back over on his bed, resisting the want to go back to sleep, it was odd for him, as an eleven year-old boy to be so tired all of the time, but it may be because he was coming to that age. As his bare feet touched the wooden floor, he shivered as the cold wood was still. He looked outside of his window, looking at the village that he was in, the sand being picked up by the wind and blown around. It was a good view for him. He than turned his back to the window and went and changed.

"Goodbye."

He walked out of the room he was just in to change, his black cloths on him, but his sleeve up, to show his father he was ready. His father noticed him walking infront of him, he looked at him and nodded, giving him permission to leave. Raiden bowed and than walked out of the room. He was in the hallway were brown and sized with photos of all of his former family members who had died in the past hundred years. His mother and the end of the hall, he stopped and looked at it, the painting was beautiful. It captured her perfectly, or to at least what he thinks was perfectly. He never actually saw his mother, only her tombstone, and he loved to see this painting of her, hoping that is what she looked like. He looked at the door infront of him and than said the word, Goodbye, and walked out.

The place that he wandered to, was a quiet part of this village. It didn't have much noise, except for the yelling of family members that was in the house that he was about twenty feet away from. His facial expression showed that he knew that they were going to be yelling, one foot after another, he walked. Not even turning his head to look into the open window that was there. He didn't want to invade their privacy, which he had done many times before, but for some reason today was different for him. His eyes fell upon a man who had come up to him, "Hello?" He said as polietly as he could, trying not to irritate the man, hoping that he didn't say something stupid or irritating.

Junichi had left the house only moments before, the yelling was quieter now then before he had entered, he doesn't believe he solved much. A ranked missions requiring killing were easy, as simple as breathing to him, simple neibourhood chores seemed impossible, perhaps he had become to distant from those he knew. Suddenly a boy was walking towards him, he was young, short. Junichi had seen him before, but he doesn't remember where, probably here. The boy spoke to him, his voice was unfamiliar, even a little frozen, lifeless, the constant rain does that to children, not to mention what state of the village. "Hello." Junichi said back, making his voice as dull as the boy's had been. Junichi wanted to be friendly, but there are right moments for things and right now, he belived this boy would rather be left alone and was only trying to be polite, Junichi wouldn't comfort him.

The young looking boy looked at the man. He couldn't tell if the man was going to be someone who would be strong or just ignore him and leave him to be alone, like everyone else had done before, this village was very ignoring. So he looked him straight in the eyes, showing he didn't care if he seemed scared or what ever the man had thought before. The mans voice, was stronger than he had expected, it shook him a little, but he still stood calm, "I was wondering, do you know why they are always fighting?" He asked, pointing his index finger at the house with the yelling people.

Junichi stopped moving, he looked at the boy before him. "They fight because each of them have an idea, each of them will fight for their idea, because they believe their idea is better, or they are too stubborn to acknowledge that the others idea is superior." Junichi crossed his arms, "what is your name?" He began to examine Raiden.
